چکیده
Abstract Maize straw, an abundant agricultural residue, has potential as eco-friendly resource. The aim of this study was to investigate the structure and effect on Bifidobacterium longum exopolysaccharide produced by Weissella cibaria using maize straw a carbon source. In work, exopolysaccharide-producing strain isolated from vegetable juice, which identified W. cibaria. Our results demonstrated that is linear glucan containing α-1,6 glycosidic bond with molecular weight 9462 Da. addition, scanning electron microscopy revealed flake structures. vitro assays showed ability stimulate proliferation B. its metabolism produce acetic acid. This work provides scientific reference for application new insight into source exopolysaccharide.

متن کاملIs Taurolidine-citrate an effective and cost-effective hemodialysis cathe-ter lock solution? A systematic review and cost- effectiveness analysis
Background: Prevention of catheter-related infection is of prime importance,. However, because of the risks caused by the leakage of circulating antibiotics and development of resistance to antibiotics, they are replaced by lock solutions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and cost- effectiveness of taurolidine-citrate as a hemodialysis catheter lock solution compared to other ...
متن کاملCharacterization of Exopolysaccharide Produced by Streptococcus thermophilus CC30
An exopolysaccharide (EPS) producing strain CC30 was isolated from raw milk and identified as Streptococcus thermophilus with morphological and 16S sequencing analysis. The strain was shown to produce 1.95 g/L of EPS when grown in skim milk lactose medium at 30°C by increasing the viscosity of the medium. The EPS was isolated and purified, and it was shown to consist of glucose and galactose in...
متن کاملEffect of synthetic carbon substrates and cane molasses, an agro waste, on exopolysaccharide production by P. fluorescens
Exopolysaccharides (EPS) from P.fluorescens was produced using sucrose and sugarcane molasses as the carbon substrates at different concentrations (1-7%), at different incubation time (12, 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 hr). The extraction was carried out using ethanol precipitation technique. The lyophilized samples were analysed for its total carbohydrates content. The predominant sugar was found to b...
متن کاملThe cost and income efficiency models with MOLP structure
In this paper, the cost and income efficiency models have been considered with regard to the multiple objective programming structures. For finding the efficient points in purposed MOLP problem, some various methods like Lexicography & the weighted sum can be used. So by introducing the MOLP problem the cost & income efficiencies will be achieved. In the present study, the MOLP problem is conve...
